In the “Contents” area, you can create playlists or interactive touch menus.
To create a playlist, click the plus icon next to “Playlists & Menus” and select “Playlist”. Define a playlist layout, for example “Full Screen with Ticker”. The playlist layout remains the same throughout the entire display of the playlist and is used to integrate static media objects such as a news ticker or a channel logo (as known from TV channels). Close this dialog with “OK”.
Add playlist pages to your playlist by clicking the plus icon under “Pages in Playlist” and select a page layout that determines how the playlist page should be partitioned. Each page can contain one or more containers, which then accommodate media objects such as images, PDFs, web pages and videos.
You can also define a transition effect and display duration. If no display duration is defined and the setting is set to “Automatic”, the default page display duration from the playlist settings will be used.
If a media object on a playlist page has its own “natural” duration (e.g., videos or embedded playlists), the shortest duration of any media object on that page determines the duration of the entire page, unless an explicit duration has been defined for that playlist page.
A media object is added to each container. Select the media object and then the corresponding file (e.g., an image file, a PDF, or a video file). This file is then added as a physical copy to the media library of the project.
