Initial Setup of FrontFace Player App
Launch the FrontFace Player App.
Step 1 – Installation: If you want to operate the FrontFace Player on premises or use the FrontFace Cloud, select “Default”.
Step 2 – Connection: The setup now lists all available network connections. Select the appropriate entry from the list (typically the IP address of the device on the local network). Alternatively, it is possible to configure the network connection manually. Only for a standalone all-in-one operation (completely offline), the “Local” option should be selected.
Step 3 – Registration: Enter a name for the player and optionally an admin password. The player admin password protects the FrontFace Player App against unauthorized termination and access to the maintenance menu.
Step 4 – Activation: To activate the player and create the license key, scan the displayed QR code and create the license key in your customer account. After creating the license key, click “Get License Key” or enter it manually.
Step 5 – Publishing: Select the desired publishing method.
Once the player setup is successfully completed, the Player ID and Player PIN are displayed. Please make a note of both so that you can subsequently add this player to your project in the FrontFace Assistant.
