Warning message: "The monitored process 'FrontFace Runtime.exe' has been shut down due to reaching the memory threshold of 2000 MB."
The
FrontFace Player App has a built-in protection mechanism that prevents the
player PC's memory from being flooded due to a memory leak (e.g., faulty
graphics card drivers), which could lead to a crash or uncontrolled behavior.
Normally,
the player process does not use more than 2 GB of memory. However, when
displaying a large number of complex websites at high resolutions (4K+), for
example, the process may require more than 2 GB of RAM.
In such a case, the protection mechanism is triggered and the process is restarted. If this is not intended and the player PC has sufficient memory, the memory usage threshold should be increased accordingly. The setting "Memory Shortage Threshold [MB]" can be adjusted in the FrontFace Assistant under "Player > Advanced Player Settings". Republishing is mandatory after making the change.
