Information about FrontFace 5

With the upcoming version 5, FrontFace will support Linux (specifically Ubuntu), in addition to Windows 10/11 and Android. It will also be compatible with the Raspberry Pi.

Additionally, a Web Assembly (WASM) version of the FrontFace Player App will be available later, making it usable in standard desktop/mobile browsers and on various smart TVs and screens running other operating systems, such as Tizen or WebOS.

FrontFace 5 is backward compatible with FrontFace 4, allowing you to transfer playlists and display controls to the new version.

We plan to release a public beta version in September 2026 and the official version by the end of the year.

If you are interested in using FrontFace on Linux or Raspberry Pi and would like to try the new version early, please contact us at info@mirabyte.com.

Upgrades from FrontFace 4 to FrontFace 5 will be free for existing customers with an active updates and support plan. Additionally, support and maintenance for the current FrontFace 4 will continue until 2030.
