Is it possible to mute the background music of a playlist when a video is shown?

By default, when a background music is set for the entire playlist and a playlist page with a video is shown, the audio track of the video and the background music are playing both at the same time. It is possible to mute the audio track of the video by using the provided configuration option in the video settings dialog but in order to mute the background music while the video is playing, you have to use the following workaround:

  1. Add your background music for the entire playlist (not for the playlist page) as usual. The music is then played permanently in the background as a continuous loop through all the pages.
  2. On the page/pages where you insert a video, which has an audio track, add a "silent" audio file as the background music for this individual playlist page. Here you download a WAV file that you can use which contains one second of "silence".

Since the background music of a playlist page has a higher priority than the one of the playlist, you will now hear the audio track of the video only. Then, on the next playlist page the background music of the playlist is played again.
