The FrontFace Player Application only shows a black screen or the FrontFace logo and a message that no content has yet been published.
Please check if the publishing folder is set correctly both in the player application as well as in the FrontFace Assistant and please make sure that you are logged in with same user account under which the FrontFace Player Application is run.
In case the player application shows a short "Updating..." message when you publish to the player PC but the screen remains black afterwards, please check if the clock and the date of the player PC's system clock are set correctly. Also, make sure that you have assigned a schedule for the playlist on this player PC (using the FrontFace Assistant) that is active at the current point of time.
Furthermore, you should make sure that you have assigned the playlist to the correct screen of the player PC. If your player PC has only one screen and you assigned a playlist to screen 2, the playlist will not be shown!
Finally, you should check that you are running the same FrontFace version both, on the player PC and on your workstation (FrontFace Assistant). The FrontFace Player Application will not accept updates that have been published using a newer version of the Assistant. In such a case, you will see a warning popup on the screen.
