Do I have to reinstall the software from scratch when an update is released?
When a new update is released (normally you will be informed by e-mail), you can download the latest version from our homepage in your customer account if you are eligible to obtain free updates & support.
You can simply install the new version "over" your current version. All settings and configuration will remain.
Please remember to update both the player PC / kiosk PC as well as the management PC with the Assistant because the new version needs to be installed on all PC where you use the FrontFace software!
If your current installation is stable and the new features of a new release are not really relevant for you, it is not required that you install every update.
It is also possible to automate / script the installation of the update. You can find more about this and the command line switches available for the setup in the user manual.
